Requirements for new properties
When you make the decision to rent your property for tourist purposes on the Costa Brava, there are a number of things you should have in it. This will make it more attractive to guests; Therefore, you will receive more bookings with a higher margin.
List of mandatory requirements for your property:
- Internet connection
High-speed WiFi with connection throughout the property is mandatory.
- Air-conditioning
It is mandatory to install air conditioning in all rooms.
- Heating
It is mandatory to have heating in all rooms. You can have air conditioning with a heat pump or portable heaters.
- Hot water and water pressure
It is mandatory to have a water heater of at least 30 liters and no more than 10 years old. Both hot and cold water pressure is required.
- Linens
It is mandatory to have 3 sets of spare sheets for each bed in the property. It is mandatory to have a duvet for each bed.
- Towels
It is mandatory to have 3 sets of towels (1 large towel and 1 small towel) for each person. The number of people is governed by the maximum number of people allowed on the property.
- Washing machine
It is essential equipment, especially for long stays in summer, which correspond to 70% of the turnover throughout the year. Tourists look for apartments where they can wash their clothes.
- Vacuum cleaners and cleaning equipment
It is necessary to have a vacuum cleaner inside the property for internal use by guests and to have a minimum of cleaning materials such as a broom, dustpan, bucket, mop.
